Introduction

This is a 3-month Executive Digital Leadership Programme co-developed with the Ministry of Economy and MyDIGITAL Corporation in their effort to scale up talents in the digital sector. It is designed for leaders from any field in both the public and private sectors including start-up companies and small and medium enterprises. Participants of the program will be assigned to cohorts according to their levels of competency and experience to ensure that there is little disparity between the participants in each cohort. All applicants will go through an assessment when they apply for the program to ensure that they meet the entrance requirements. Then, at the end of the program, there will be a post-program assessment to ensure that the learning outcomes of the program have been met.

The program will take the participants on a digitalization journey where they will be taught 11 different modules in Month 1. The modules will be highly engaging where participants will learn through presentations and group discussions as well as analysis using case studies, and other experiential learning methods. Online lessons will be offered to cater to international participants.

Months 2 & 3 will involve synchronous programs recorded by MIT Horizon, along with guest lectures by Technology Immersion Partners. On Month 3, the Technology Officers Networking Group will be launched to ensure every participant has support and remains updated and relevant. The overall program will see a blend of 75% face-to-face learning and 25% online learning. The Technology Immersion Partners will have at least a 35% involvement in the overall program.

The purpose of this program is to develop digital transformation amongst leaders and foster a sense of urgency in them to change their old ways of working. The speakers are experts in the field of digitalization, cybersecurity, leadership and management. They have extensive working and training experience and they will share their knowledge on recent innovations and trends.

This program is unique in that it involves technology companies like Microsoft, Google Cloud, IBM, Amazon Web Services and Shopee. These companies will share their knowledge, expertise and experience in digitalization through panel discussions, lectures, hackathons and case scenario discussions. The technology companies will also play a role in reviewing the digital roadmaps developed by the participants.
