Senior Manager, Operations

Reports to: Director, Corporate Governance and Sustainability

Position Overview

The Senior Manager of Operations plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of Executive Education’s activities and initiatives. This position requires overseeing various projects, managing team members, and fostering collaboration with multiple departments to deliver exceptional results. The Senior Manager of Operations also contributes to strategic decision-making and process improvement.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**)

Oversight of Program Operations & Events

  • Assign the Ops PICs to programs and events based on the EE Calendar at the start of each month and inform all key stakeholders accordingly.

Management of Operations Team

  • Develop SOPs for the day-to-day roles and responsibilities of the Ops Team; and update the job descriptions and SOPs, as necessary.
  • Ensure that all members of the Ops Team are conversant with the SOPs and receive adequate support and guidance to carry out their roles properly.
  • Monitor and supervise team members to ensure delivery of programs is done professionally, efficiently, accurately, on a timely basis and in accordance with the In the case of custom-built programs, it must also be in accordance with program and client specifications:
    1. Pre-program liaison with faculty for legal documentation, pre-reading materials, slides, classroom set-up, equipment, etc.
