Through a combination of videos, quizzes and real-world case discussions in our live sessions together, you will learn the following:

The Financial Accounting course is designed for Executives and Professionals who want to strengthen their ability to interpret financial information, assess business performance, and make better decisions. A basic working knowledge of Excel is required, as Excel will be used throughout the program to illustrate the application of key accounting concepts in a practical, accessible way.

Video Learning

Before live sessions, you’ll watch 60 to 120 minute video lectures and complete assignments to reinforce your learning. Videos will be available starting August 24, 2026.

Live Sessions

The live sessions are held in hybrid format, beginning with a review of the video lecture and followed by a discussion of the case of the day.

The Royal Malaysian Customs Department has announced a targeted revision to the Sales and Service Tax (SST) framework, effective July 1, 2025. As part of this revision, a 6 percent Service Tax will be imposed on education services provided to non-Malaysian individuals, including those offered by the Asia School of Business.
