About the Asia School of Business
The Asia School of Business (ASB) was established in 2015 by Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with the MIT Sloan School of Management. ASB is committed to developing principled and transformative leaders who create positive impact in the emerging world and beyond.
ASB is AACSB-accredited, placing it among the top 6% of business schools globally. Its programs are HRDC-claimable for eligible Malaysians. Known for its applied, experiential, and practice-oriented approach, ASB offers world-class expertise across leadership and management, strategy, scenario planning, supply chain, systems optimization, artificial intelligence, technology, sustainability, finance, and organizational behavior.
The School has gained growing global recognition through international rankings. In the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, ASB debuted at #23 in Asia and within the top 180 globally. ASB also became the first school in Malaysia to debut in the Financial Times Executive Education Custom Rankings, placing 94th globally among the world’s top 100 executive education custom program providers in its inaugural participation.
ASB works closely with industry and public-sector partners across the region to co-create learning experiences that address evolving talent needs. Executive Education
The ICLIF Executive Education Centre at ASB – the first in Malaysia to debut in the Financial Times Top 100 Executive Education Custom Rankings – delivers high-impact programs in leadership, management, sustainability, corporate governance, finance, geopolitics, and technology. Grounded in world-class
research and supported by executive coaching, ICLIF serves approximately 7,000 executives annually. The Centre, along with ASB faculty, also provides advisory services to firms, usually involving Boards of Directors and senior leaders.
Micro-credentials
ASB’s micro-credential programs, known as Agile Continuous Education (ACE), offers modular, stackable hybrid courses designed for continuous professional development. ACE certificates can be accumulated into recognized micro-credentials and may be applied toward entry into ASB’s MBA and EMBA programs, as well as selected international postgraduate pathways with leading global universities.
