L-R: Professor Asad Ata, Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Dato' Marzunisham Omar and Distinguished Professor Joseph Cherian

We were honored to join Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Dato’ Marzunisham Omar, Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), for a productive discussion on strengthening Malaysia’s economic resilience and advancing inclusive growth.

Representing the Asia School of Business were our CEO, President, Dean and Distinguished Professor Joseph Cherian and Professor Asad Ata, Faculty Director of Center for Sustainable Small-owners (CSS) — an Asia School of Business initiative dedicated to empowering and improving the livelihoods of oil palm smallholders through certification, compliance, training, and the implementation of sustainable and good agricultural practices.

This engagement reflects our shared commitment to supporting the Malaysia MADANI vision — empowering communities, building financial resilience, and driving inclusive prosperity for all.
