Program Overview

In just over a year at the helm of TMC Life Sciences, Nadiah Wan faced the challenges of the 2020 pandemic as international patient revenue halted and domestic restrictions impacted appointments. Swiftly adapting, she reprioritized amidst the crisis. Now, as Covid-19 subsides, the CEO revisits ambitious expansion plans to position TMC as a major private hospital in Southeast Asia.

BIOGRAPHY

Nadiah Wan has held the positions of Executive Director and Group CEO at TMC Life Sciences Bhd. since February 2019 and has been the CEO of Thomson Hospitals Sdn. Bhd. since June 2017. Before these roles, she served as the Group Chief Corporate Officer at TMC Life Sciences Bhd.

She holds an MSc in Public Health (Nutrition) from the London School of Hygiene and Medicine, where she earned the Hecht Bequest for outstanding performance as the Best Student in Public Health (Nutrition). Nadiah completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard College (AB cum Laude, ’07), conducting research at Boston Children’s Hospital with grants from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Additionally, Nadiah is an Independent Non-Executive Director for The Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia and a committee member for the Private Healthcare Productivity Nexus since January 2023. A member of the Forum of Young Global Leaders Class of 2020, she currently holds the position of the youngest and first female President of the Harvard Club of Malaysia.

Nadiah, a mother of one, is dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery.
