Izzaddin Idris has over 35 years of experience in the fields of investment banking, financial and general management, having served in various senior positions at leading Malaysian-based companies. In recent years, these have included Tenaga Nasional Berhad (CFO), the national electric utility company, UEM Group Berhad (Group MD/CEO), Malaysia’s leading engineering-based infrastructure services group and Axiata Group Berhad (President/Group CEO), a leading telecommunications group in Asia focusing on mobile digital telco, digital businesses and infrastructure.

Izzaddin’s wide range of sectoral exposure include investment banking, electronic & print media, township/property development, construction, concessions structured on public private partnerships, IPPs, asset & project management, mobile telecommunications, FinTech & Data Analytics as well as telco infrastructure. His corporate achievements in operational excellence, business development, restructuring, M&As, fund raising, JVs & partnerships are coupled with continuous efforts in talent development, graduate employability, social responsibility and sustainability.

Izzaddin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours in Finance) from University of New South Wales Australia, and is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow of CPA Australia.
