Biography

Albert Ting is the Chairman of CX Technology Corporation, Chairman of Phu Hung Securities and Phu Hung Fund Management of Vietnam. Born in Taipei, Mr. Ting has been a long term investor of Vietnam over the last 30+ years.

Mr. Ting is a graduate of Harvard University (A.B) and MIT Sloan School of Management (MBA). Mr. Ting has an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from National Chi Nan University. Mr. Ting is a 2011 Eisenhower Fellow, and a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute of the United States Office of Personnel Management. Mr. Ting is also an Honorable Fellow of the Chinese Military Academy and an Honorary Alumnus of National Chi Nan University.

Mr. Ting also serves as the Chairman of World Vision Taiwan, Chairman of Lawrence S. Ting Memorial Foundation, Chairman of Walter Fei Memorial Foundation, a Council Member of Germany’s Global Solutions Initiative, a Steering Committee Member of Digital Asia Hub, a Board Member of MIT Sloan School Asia Executive Board, a Director of Association for Victims Support affiliated with Taipei District Prosecutors’ Office, and a Member of Eisenhower Fellowship President’s Advisory Council.

In the past, Mr. Ting served as Vice President of Morgan Stanley in the United Kingdom. Mr. Ting also served as a Director of First Commercial Bank and was appointed by Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance as its representative on the board of Mega Financial Holdings. Mr. Ting served as President of MIT Alumni Association of Taiwan, a Trustee of the Fay School, Massachusetts, a Vice Chairman of World Vision Taiwan, and a Professor of Practice of National Normal University.

Mr. Ting has been awarded the Justice Professional Medal 1st Class by the Ministry of Justice, a Ministry of Defense Honorary Memorial Insignia, a Certificate of Commendation from the National Academy of Civil Service, a Certificate of Gratitude from the National Fire Agency, Ministry of Interior, a Certificate of Gratitude from the Yunlin County Magistrate, a Certificate of Merit from Hanoi Stock Exchange, a Certificate of Merit from People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and a Certificate of Commendation from the Minister of Justice of Vietnam.
