ASB Fellowships

Merit-based fellowships are available to applicants who demonstrate outstanding accomplishment across academic qualification, work experience, professional and global diversity, leadership impact, and achievement.

One important caveat. If you come from a company that holds a corporate scholarship or sponsorship partnership with ASB, you may not be considered for ASB merit-based fellowships. You should pursue the sponsorship route that exists with your employer instead. Questions on employer sponsorship go to admissions@asb.edu.my.

Tan Sri Yeoh Tiong Lay Scholarship

YTL Corporation’s YTL Foundation has endowed a scholarship fund that allows the ASB Admissions Committee to award a scholarship to a deserving candidate once every two years. It is un-bonded, and open to a Malaysian applicant granted admission to the MBA.

The Foundation was established in 1997 on the belief that education is the basis on which every society progresses, and has since provided aid to individuals of great potential who would otherwise be denied higher education.

The award recognises all-round high achievers who embody YTL’s philosophy of “Building the Right Thing” and its five core values.

Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow Public Bank Award

Public Bank has endowed a scholarship fund enabling the ASB Admissions Committee to award a scholarship to a deserving candidate each year.

This is an unbonded award, available to a Malaysian applicant who has been granted admission to the ASB MBA program.

Progressive Education Fund

PEF supports exceptional candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership, professional excellence, and a commitment to making an impact. Each year ASB awards two scholarships to self-sponsored MBA applicants.

What the award recognises

  • Strong academic performance
  • Significant professional experience
  • Leadership experience and impact
  • Diversity of background and perspective
  • Outstanding personal or professional achievement

AFFIN Education Financing – i →

ASB is not responsible for the success of your loan application and is not involved in the approval process. This is an external study loan.

Yayasan Johor

Yayasan Johor has endowed a scholarship fund enabling the ASB Admissions Council to award a scholarship to a deserving candidate each year. It is an unbonded award for a Malaysian applicant granted admission to the MBA.

This award closes earlier than the others. It has historically required application by Round 3, so confirm the current cycle’s date with admissions.
