The Asia School of Business (ASB) is honoured to be among the 27 Founding Members of the Malaysia Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Impact Alliance, a multi stakeholder platform launched this morning (September 19, 2025), by YB Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, Malaysia’s Minister of Plantation and Commodities.
Asia School of Business was represented at the launch by Professor Asad Ata and Dr. Peiter Stek as a Founding Member under the “Think Tank” or Thought Leadership category, Asia School of Business joins 26 other members including FMGC companies, plantation growers, smallholder representatives, industry associations, civil societies, financial institutions, certification bodies and international organizations in this landmark national initiative. Asia School of Business’s strength in combining evidence-based insights with practical solutions. brings to the alliance, thought leadership and on-the-ground engagement to support responsible sourcing and inclusive supply chains.
Established by the MSPO, the alliance will serve as a structured platform for collaboration, and is envisioned as a hub for feedback, innovation and exchange of collective expertise. It aims to position and strengthen Malaysia’s leadership in sustainable palm oil and help accelerate inclusive industry transformation.
