Biography
Jefri is the Senior Director of Academic Programs at the Asia School of Business (ASB). He leads the strategic planning and delivery of ASB’s MBA and EMBA programs, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and a strong commitment to academic excellence. He also oversees the Agile Continuous Education (ACE) platform, a flexible lifelong learning initiative that combines on-demand video, live faculty-led sessions, assessments, and collaborative projects. ACE participants earn stackable, credit-bearing Micro-Credentials that are transferable toward ASB’s MicroMasters, MBA, and EMBA programs.
Jefri began his career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley before transitioning into consulting, where he led supply chain transformation projects across the United States and Europe. After 18 years abroad, he returned to Malaysia and held senior leadership roles in IT and Islamic Banking prior to joining ASB in 2016.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He is also certified in Supply Chain (CSCP), Project Management (PMP), and Islamic Finance (CIBFL).
