Miguel Paredes

Miguel is a senior AI and Tech executive, adviser, and consultant, is a Venture Partner at Silicon Foundry, and a fellow / adviser for Andrew Ng’s AI Fund and MIT Professor Sinan Aral’s Milemark Capital, two AI focused VCs. Until recently, he was the Vice President of AI & Data Science at Albertsons, where he led strategy and value creation with Data & AI, and co-led the Generative AI program and Center of Excellence. Before that, Miguel stood up more than 10 Machine Learning, Data Science, and Technology Centers of Excellence in different industries (Mining, Fishing, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Real Estate, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Cement / Concrete, Agriculture), and he led AI & Data value creation at a Private Equity fund. Miguel led the Digital Transformation at Grupo Breca, and at Rimac Seguros, where he was Chief AI & Data Officer. Miguel holds a PhD in applied artificial intelligence and data science as well as masters’ degrees in engineering and economic development, all from MIT. Miguel is an alumni of Harvard Business School where he completed the General Manager Program (GMP) degree. Miguel is a board member of the American Society for Artificial Intelligence, and a co-editor of the Harvard Data Science Review.
