Seeds of Knowledge, Harvests of Change
What does meaningful change look like when knowledge reaches the people who can put it into practice?
On 19 August 2026, we launched the P&G Center for Sustainable Small-owners (CSS) Impact Report 2026, capturing the journey and impact of the P&G Smallholder Program in supporting independent oil palm smallholders in Malaysia.
Since 2019, the program has worked alongside smallholders and farming communities to turn sustainability into practical action – from better farming and farm management to certification, traceability, stronger livelihoods, and community leadership.
The numbers tell part of the story: 892 independent smallholders RSPO-certified, more than 1,100 farms supported and traced, and yield improvements of 20–30% among intervention farms.
But behind every number is a farmer, a farm and a community.
Seeds of Knowledge, Harvests of Change explores how knowledge shared in the field takes root – and what changes as a result. Through the journeys of Puan Suhaila, Encik Hamid, Wak Tukimin, young farmers Haris and Rashdan, and collection centre operator Encik Saiful Amrin, the report brings to life how knowledge can strengthen farms, livelihoods, local leadership and responsible sourcing.
As CSS looks ahead, the focus is on building local capability and creating systems through which knowledge, and its impact, can continue to grow.We invite you to explore the stories, evidence and lessons in the CSS Impact Report 2026.
