From Ideas to Award-Winning Impact: Research that Inspires Change

Congratulations to our faculty member – Professor Yi-Ren Wang, Associate Professor I of Organizational Behavior, on her recent global accolades!

We are proud to share that Yi-Ren’s outstanding research on workplace traumatic stress, energy and work-family conflict, and financial hardships as gendered experiences has earned her two major recognitions in the academic world:

🏆 Schmidt-Hunter Meta-Analysis Award at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) 2025 Conference
🏆 Best Paper Award at the Journal of Organizational Behavior (2024)

Her groundbreaking papers, including Wang et al. (2023) on the crossover of workplace traumatic stress symptoms and Ford et al. (2023) on work-family conflict and resource loss, are shaping the future of Organizational Behavior. These contributions exemplify the excellence that defines our School and commitment to hashtag#researchdriven hashtag#change.

We look forward to seeing how her work continues to influence the global academic community. Well done, Yi-Ren!
