The ASB learning model.
Most MBAs teach subjects. The ASB MBA is built around four connected models, individually designed to rewire how you see, decide, and lead. Together they are the difference between knowing about business and being able to move it.
Real business challenges don’t care about departmental lines. For example, supply shock touches operations, finance, and leadership all at once. That’s why our curriculum integrates every discipline from day one, so you learn to navigate complexity without missing a beat.
The Integrated Management Lab is an ASB-designed experience, refined through our collaboration with MIT Sloan. It breaks down traditional academic silos, tasking you with a complex corporate challenge that spans finance, strategy, operations, and organizational leadership. You will analyze the problem from every angle, build a cross-functional strategy, and present your solution directly to the executive leaders who live with it.

Action Learning is not a module or a capstone project. It is how we believe leaders are actually formed. From early in the year, you are placed inside real organisations across Malaysia, Asia, and beyond, working on a live problem with a real deadline and real consequences. Not a case study written a decade ago. A brief with your name on the deliverable.
More than 520 of these projects have been delivered across 37 countries, with partners ranging from Google, Coca-Cola, and Samsung to startups still finding their footing. You will diagnose, gather data directly, build the solution, and answer for it. That is the way you will work for the rest of your career, and here you begin learning it from day one.

The greatest leadership transformations happen within. Asia School of Business’s Mindset Lab is a unique program rooted in behavioral science that supports participants in developing their mindset, increasing self-awareness, understanding team dynamics, and driving change within a group.
You’ll engage in topic exploration, reflection, and interactive workshops, and receive personalized executive coaching to cultivate developmental mindsets for growth — the belief that skills and abilities can be developed through consistent effort.
Mindset Lab is led by faculty, an academic program director, an academic manager, mindset coaches, and every participant who brings relevant complementary experiences to the program.

One of the most distinctive moments of the year takes you to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where our collaboration with MIT Sloan opens its doors to you as a student rather than a visitor. Through this immersion experience, you engage in applied global market and industry analysis, sitting in on advanced sessions and moving through one of the most concentrated innovation ecosystems on the planet.
It is a powerful chapter in a larger ASB story. Proof that a leader educated in Asia can move with confidence anywhere in the world. You return to Kuala Lumpur to complete the transformation ASB set out to create, carrying both a deep fluency in Asia’s fastest-growing markets and a global network that stays with you for life.
