Biography
Wywa holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from HELP University Malaysia, and a master’s degree in special educational needs from the University of Nottingham, UK. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Western Sydney, and a BA in Advanced Chinese studies and Psychology, from The University of New South Wales, Australia.
Apart from being an Academic Manager, Wywa is a practicing clinical psychologist (CP1-0397) working with individuals suffering from mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, grief, and stress related issues. Furthermore, she provides play therapy services in the Klang Valley area.
Prior to joining ASB, Wywa worked as a lecturer teaching various academic programs in areas related to general & educational psychology, and special educational needs, at the tertiary level in Malaysia. Wywa believes in supporting individuals by providing a safe space, which allows them to explore and discover their potential in a non-threatening environment.
