Scott Hensarling

Scott Hensarling’s career spans 35 years of commercial, entrepreneurial and advisory experience, with work across more than forty countries. His work encompasses board and CEO advisory, executive assessment and succession, senior leadership development, team effectiveness and cultural transformation.

Founder of PEMAlyst, Scott previously led Korn Ferry Advisory Malaysia and served as Senior Client Partner in the Global Board and CEO Practice. Prior to this, he was a Partner in Leadership Advisory at Heidrick & Struggles for APAC. Earlier, with HPL and through various partnerships, he designed, developed and led the implementation of hotel and lifestyle concepts across Asia.

His approach draws on global commercial responsibility, sustained study of leadership in Asia, and experience as an investor and leader of twenty start-ups. He works with leaders on the mindsets, behaviours and organisational norms, rhythms, routines and systems that enable superior performance. Scott leads, consults and teaches with a conviction that great leadership demands clarity of purpose and the courage to become what that purpose asks of us.
