AI and Central Banking

The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in recent times has brought about profound change in major economies worldwide with the need for central banks to increasingly adopt and embrace new technologies. 

This could further transform the role of Central Banks particularly within monetary policy, labour productivity and financial stability as Central Banks continues to anticipate and assess transformative capabilities of AI tools.

As such, with Central Banks around the world pivoting into the collection, management and usage of big data capabilities, Economists have begun to leverage this technology to visualize & analyze a vast array of information. Producing innovative and novel economic research.

Moreover, in the generative AI space, we have also begun to see positive impact within financial supervision and regulation. Showing a wider promise to innovate various frameworks.

Join us in this 2-day workshop and introductory hands-on session as we attempt to shed light into the exciting potential that AI has to offer in central banking research, regulation and operations. We will deep dive into various studies conducted by central bankers and academics alike on how to navigate the potential and difficulties that AI presents us.
