Ng Kok Song is Executive Chairman of Avanda Investment Management with assets under management of US$9 billion in global multi asset solutions for Asian institutional clients. He set up Avanda in 2015 following his retirement from GIC, where he had worked for 30 years and was its first Group Chief Investment Officer.

Kok Song’s career also included 15 years at the Monetary Authority of Singapore where he was instrumental in developing Singapore as a financial centre for currency trading and financial derivatives. In 2003, he founded the Wealth Management Institute to develop talent and expertise so as to position Singapore as Asia’s wealth management hub.
